About the Role
Reporting to Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a key role leading the country sales organization and supporting the growth of Talenom Spain, scaling up a small inbound team into a country-wide outbound solution-sales organization in the SME segment.
As a member of the Country Management Board, the Head of Sales will be responsible for reaching the sales goals, budgeting and developing new sales reps and leaders. Playing a crucial role in implementing the growth strategy for an international, fast-growing company.
Main Tasks:
- Lead, develop and expand the Spanish sales team with a proactive solution-sales approach in the SME segment.
- Developing and improvement of the sales processes and solution-selling methods to succeed in new customer sales.
- Align strategy with the Global Commercial leadership Team to meet company goals.
- Building local sales teams in the largest cities in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid… )
- Cooperation with the Business Directors to hyper-local sales.
- Recruiting, onboarding and developing the sales reps and managers providing mentorship and guidance, and ensuring continuous professional development and team cohesion.
- Hold regular individual and group coaching sessions to improve sales performance.
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships, leveraging your expertise to deepen market penetration.
- Analyze data and results to develop plans and report them to Chief Commercial Officer.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Service and Product teams to align strategy and market needs.
Essential Experience:
- B2B solution-selling experience, preferably to small & medium-size companies.
- Leadership skills as a senior sales team leader (3-5 years of experience in leading sales reps)
- "Boots on the ground" approach to leadership.
- Experience on hands-on coaching of sales reps and leaders
- Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment & culture.
- Innovative thinking, goal and solution orientation and analytical thinking.
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
- Locally working in Spanish, ability to work also in English.
